Full Description

DECKHANDS patented brackets are designed to hold market umbrellas with a maximum 1 ½” (38mm) diameter pole securely in place, even in extreme wind conditions. They are especially recommended for balconies and patios with wood railings and plain surfaces like fences.

Feautures:
Suitable for umbrellas with poles 1.5″ (38 cm) in diameter and smaller
Deckhands can be painted to match the balcony railing on which they are installed
Pre-painted premium pine; ideal for painted wood railings
Each package includes:
2 wooden brackets
4 x 3″ (76mm) galvanized screws to secure brackets to balcony railing or fence
1 1/2 stainless steel screw to secure the umbrella
an installation guide
Tests conducted during Hurricane Sandy demonstrated the effectiveness of these brackets in holding umbrellas in extreme wind conditions (see video below)
