Based on time-honored Mayan hammock hand-weaving technology, the avocado-shape ACAPULCO chair has been a classic on Mexican beaches since the 50’s. The reinterpretation of this classic by Innit Designs, using flexible yet durable vinyl cords, earned many prestigious awards and regularly makes the front page of design and home decor magazines worldwide. Innit unified tradition with innovation and harmonized the function of ergonomic comfort with retro-modern aesthetic form. The ACAPULCO chair is in every way cool. Its colorful weave offers a character of casual sophistication to every home or institution. But most important, it perfectly cradles the body within its clean lines without suffocating, giving the chair’s guest an instant siesta.
